Model 1 The cabinet is constructed of solid wood, not just for appearances sake, but also because it offers an acoustically inert housing that does not colour the sound. A custom designed, heavy duty, long throw drive unit aligned to a multi-stage frequency contouring circuit provides remarkable clarity and dynamic range. Most importantly, the tuner section features discreet component technology never before used in FM radio that makes it capable of pulling in more stations than so many so-called high fidelity tuners. Finding stations is also a joy thanks to the beautifully weighted and intuitively geared tuning dial. Start at one end of the dial and enjoy a trip listening to all types of speech and music.

Stereophonic reproduction involves the separation of the left and right audio channels. So why then do most "stereo" radios closely-space two speakers in a single cabinet? The two-piece Model Two does stereo right–and left


Placing the matching companion speaker, with its 15’ of cord, several feet from the main unit provides the detailed imaging and accurate soundstage that is so essential for true stereo reproduction.

A mixing input permits audio from your computer to be mixed in with the radio. There is also a dedicated subwoofer output (for the optional matching Model Subwoofer) and a balance control. The bass ports are located in the rear to accommodate vertical positioning where space is tight. For added convenience, the front source knob has an auxiliary position, making it easier to hear our optional matching Model CD or other device.
